What dolls will the Fun in the Sun doll sewing pattern fit?

I’ve designed and personally tested my latest doll sewing pattern to fit a variety of 15″ to 20″ dolls including, American Girl, Australian Girl, Journey Girl, Our Generation, Madame Alexander, Baby Born, and Cabbage Patch.   The elastic back is what makes this pattern such a great fit for so many dolls.  If you have a doll with similar sizing to any of the dolls I’ve mentioned above you should also get a great fit too.

Will this doll sewing pattern fit Kidz n Cats dolls?

This is a questions I’ve been asked quite a bit already and although this actual pattern doesn’t fit the Kidz n Cats dolls I’m happy to report there’s version of this pattern coming for them.

I’m currently drafting the pattern to get a great fit on both the Kidz n Cats dolls and the Gotz Happy Kidz and similar size dolls.   So watch this space as the pattern will be coming out soon!

What’s included in the Fun in the Sun doll sewing pattern?

Are the tops and dresses in the Fun in the Sun doll sewing pattern easy to sew?

Oh Yes!  A very big yes!  I’ve included detailed step by step sewing instructions and photos so if you can thread a sewing machine and sew a line of stitches you will definitely be able to sew any of the variations I’ve included in this pattern for you.   And if you’re an experienced seamstress you can skim through the photographed steps and I’ve also included a section with just the written steps with no photos in case you want to print out the steps on their own.

My wonderful pattern tester team had a lot of fun sewing and testing the outfits they made for their dolls.  Here’s a sample of some of their Fun in the Sun creations.
