Due to popular demand I just released A Skirt for All Seasons for the gorgeous Journey Girl dolls.

I had fun playing with Photoshop creating the cover page and also made these two pages as well.  So I thought I might as well use them in the listing too. One can never have too many LOL

I played around changing the colour of the text to coordinate with their outfits.

A Skirt For All Seasons – Sewing Pattern Designed to fit Journey Girl Dolls

It’s a 6 Gore Flared Skirt with an Elastic Waist

Skill Level is Quick & Easy

It’s perfect for beginners and it’s a great a little doll sewing project.  I’ve had several people now tell me they love using my patterns to teach their daughters and granddaughters to sew dolls clothes for their own dolls.

Fabric Recommendations

The skirt can be made from a variety of fabrics including woven’s and knits!  Cotton, cotton blends, rayon, silk, or just about any other piece of fabric you happen to have on hand.  Perhaps you have some left over fabric from a quilting project or another garment you can up-cycle and turn into something new again.

The skirt has traditional gore skirt details with an easy elastic waistband for ease of construction, making it easy for little fingers to slip the skirt on and off their dolls.

The straightforward instructions and tips included throughout the pattern make the perfect choice for all levels of sewists.

The 6 Gore Flared skirt will take your dolls everywhere from a day out on the town shopping to a garden picnic in a matter of minutes.

Supplies Needed

• Fashion fabric – 1/4 metre/yard (mix n match fabrics and have fun!)  2 or 3 Fat Quarters works great for this pattern and you’ll even be able to make a couple of skirts out of the fabric.
• 1/4″ Elastic – big enough to fit comfortably around your dolls waist
