The best thing about the Cute n Casual sewing pattern designed especially to fit Journey Girl ® dolls is you can make all the pieces look cute n casual or you can make them look cute and dressy simply by changing the fabrics you use and/or adding embellishments like ribbon, ric rac, lace, buttons or any other trims and embellishments you happen to have on hand.
The top of the bodice would even look great with a little embroidery and even a few beads would look wonderful too. The Cute n Casual designs are great little basics that you can let your imagination run wild and create a multitude of looks simply by mixing and matching fabrics and prints. Your doll can have a whole wardrobe of a variety of outfits using this one simple pattern.
And you gotta love this… They’re all super quick and easy to sew!
I’d love to invite you to share pictures of the creations you make using my patterns of your Cute n Casual outfits over on my Facebook page at Chris Lucas Designs
